The Citadel apartments in Northwest’s Adams Morgan are almost ready for delivery. The Citadel apartments are cleverly built into a converted roller skating rink above the Harris Teeter at 1631 Kalorama Road NW.

The Citadel apartments include three models, all one-bedrooms with varying floor space. The first style, ranging from the 450- to 600-square-foot Manhattan; the 700- to 825-square-foot Midtown; and the 650- to 700-square-foot Uptown, which includes an extra half bath. The Wharf condos in southwest Washington D.C. at the waterfront are aiming to be one of the city’s more environmentally friendly developments. The Wharf condos, at 690 Water Street, SW, are part of Hoffman-Madison Waterfront’s overall mixed-use development, a massive revitalization effort of 3.2 million square feet now in the works.

The Wharf condos will number about 225, with about 650 apartments a 280-room hotel, 140,000 square feet of retail space and 220,000 square feet of office space. There will be about 135,000 square feet of cultural space and about 1,325 underground parking spaces, according to D.C. Urban Turf. 6th Street and Maine Avenue condos are among the dozens of new condo projects going up around Washington D.C. – you’ve seen the cranes.

6th Street and Maine Avenue condos are nestled right along the Anacostia River in Southwest Washington D.C and very close to the Southwest Waterfront Metro. Real estate near Catholic University includes a growing number of new developments, including a $200 million development by Abdo and Bozzuto, which broke ground in November of 2011 in an effort to create a new market for homes and businesses in Brookland, the Washington Business Journal reports.
