American University Park is a very suburban neighborhood. It is named after American University, which is actually situated just south of the neighborhood. Dining and shopping options in the immediate neighborhood are scarce, but there is a Wagshal’s Market, locally owned and full of delicious food and produce. AU Park is also conveniently located next to Friendship Heights, which also has plenty of shopping and dining options.

Those who love the great outdoors will enjoy…
