Monroe Street Market is a massive new $200 million mixed-use development in Brookland, adjacent to the Brookland-CUA Metro station. The complex will span five city blocks at the southern edge of Catholic University on Monroe Street in Northeast.  The project aims to unite the university and the surrounding Brookland neighborhood, and promises to bring new life to an underused area of land in DC.

With it’s location at 3511 13th Street, NW, Hailey House will be close to two different Metro stations -- Columbia Heights and Petworth. The Cardozo In U Street neighborhood, a 28-until apartment building at 11th and V streets, is well underway. The site was once home to an old auto repair center that was demolished to make way for the free-standing, seven-story building.

The new development on H Street, NE will be a mixed-use project to include new homes and retail on the 10,800-square-foot city-owned lot at 1300 H Street in Ward 6. It’s the former site of R.L. Christian Library, which opened in 1982, but has been vacant for two years and is now a brownfield site. After reviewing six proposals submitted in August, the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development awarded proposal rights to redevelop the site.
