Westlight Condo
Address: 1111 24th St NW Type: Condos No. of units: 71 Affordable Housing: N/A Type of Unit: One-, Two-, Three- bedroom Price: $1.2 M - $4.2 M Status: In Sales First Move-in: Sept. 2017 Developer: EastBanc., Inc.
The condos are designed by the architect Enrique Norten, with features by artist Ingo Maurer. Their signature is all over the building, from its cantilevered glass building façade to breathtaking sun-drenched views from floor to ceiling windows.
The 71 condos are part of a 10-story building that includes an expansive library and over 7,000 square feet of retail space. There is also an adjoining apartment tower with 93 rental units as part of the property.
Residents will live in absolute luxury, with floor to ceiling glass walls, spa-inspired bathrooms, Euro-chic kitchens and more. There’s also a rooftop heated swimming pool, dog washing station (did we mention the building is pet-friendly?), grilling stations and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
The plans for the site began 15 years ago, according to Anthony Lanier, founder and president of EastBanc, who developed Westlight.
The price of the condos will be in the $1-$4 million range, with condo fees as high as around $3,000. Residents will feel like they’re in a hotel, with a front desk concierge and a porter to assure their packages are delivered.
The condos are actually extremely quiet too, despite being located downtown. They’re insulated above, below and in-between every unit, ensuring peaceful co-existence.
