The Foggy Bottom neighborhood is situated in downtown D.C. and its main identifying landmark is George Washington University and GW Hospital. In addition to the thriving university and hospital, Foggy Bottom is also home to multiple restaurants and things to do.

Founding Farmers is a popular restaurant serving American food. Must-try items include chicken and waffles, and a sky-high chocolate mousse cake. There’s also Kingbird, a French American restaurant in the new Watergate Hotel. Its sleek design serves up menu items like a savory summer squash risotto and tableside bouillabaisse for two with lobster, scallops, spicy sausages and saffron rouille. Tonic at Quigley’s Pharmacy is home to a delicious brunch. You must try their “cin”ful French toast with cinnamon roll French toast topped with banana foster and your choice of grits, tots or fruit salad, or their amazing breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, red onions, peppers, cheddar jack cheese and roasted tomatillo sauce.

Foggy Bottom is also home to landmarks like DAR Constitution Hall and the Kennedy Center. Showing this fall at DAR includes former One Directioner Harry Styles’ solo show Oct. 1st and Straight No Chaser on Nov. 2nd. The Kennedy Center will be bringing The Book of Mormon back in late October, and there will be plenty of options for families too like the NSO Family Concert Halloween Spooktacular.

Foggy Bottom is located at the south end of Rock Creek Park which is perfect for biking and running paths and lots of green space. Foggy Bottom also has a metro stop in the neighborhood making it easily accessible by public transportation.
