Cleveland Park is one of the largest and most popular residential neighborhoods in Washington, DC. While row homes take up an abundance of the area, there are a good amount of one-bedroom condominium options, especially along Connecticut Avenue NW close to the Cleveland Park Metro station. Cleveland Park is one of DC’s most historic neighborhoods, having been named after President Grover Cleveland, who bought a farmhouse in the area in the 19th Century. It is serviced by three stops on Metro’s red line, from south to north these are Cleveland Park, Van Ness-UDC, and Tenleytown-AU. There is a good amount of commercial activity, especially along Connecticut and Wisconsin Avenue NW. Several local hotspots include 2 Amy’s, Cactus Cantina, Nanny O’Brien’s and Ireland’s Four Fields. Rock Creek Park and the National Zoo are a short walk to the east for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
