Progression Place is a new mixed-use development at 7th and S Streets in Northwest DC. This location is in the Shaw and LeDroit Park neighborhoods, adjacent to the Shaw-Howard U Metro station. The project includes office, retail, and residential space.
The Offices at Progression Place at 1805 7th Street is a LEED-Silver certified modern building with a mostly glass facade. The building has 47,000 square feet of office space to rent and an underground parking facility. The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) plans to make this building their new national headquarters.
The 7th Flats at Progression Place is the residential portion of the project at 1825 7th Street. This building will house 205 new access-controlled apartments that are slated to deliver this summer. The building features a rooftop terrace with lounge areas, grills, a sound system, and a billiards table. Other amenities include a 24-hour fitness center with interactive cardio machines and personal televisions. The lobby lounge will include an iPad bar, while the business center offer both Mac and PC computers. Units feature open floor plans with huge floor-to-ceiling windows in some. The kitchens are also modern with dark wood cabinets, hazel granite countertops, glass backsplashes, bar counters, and pendant lighting. Garage parking and bike storage are also available. There is even a furnished guest suite for visiting friends and family.
The Shops at Progression Place restored nine historic retail storefronts to provide 19,000 square feet of retail space. There is an additional 5,000 square feet of new anchor retail space on the ground floor of the 7th Flats apartment building. The developer envisions a mix of dining, shopping, arts, nightlife, and community amenities in this part of the development.
Be on the lookout for completion of The Offices, 7th Flats, and The Shops at Progression Place.
