P Street Condos
P Street condos are increasingly easy to come by as more development forges ahead in the Shaw areas.
P Street Residences are among the more recent projects for P Street Condos. This is a condo project that is tucked at the corner of P Street and 7th Street NW in the Shaw community. Valor Development’s plans call for a four-story condo building with a partially raised garage.
The 66 P Street condos in this development are on the smaller side, ranging from 510 square feet to 850 square feet. And they’re just steps away from the new John F. Kennedy Recreation Center and just three blocks south of the Shaw Metro. A rendering of this building shows a modern-looking structure with several porches for these P Street condos, but the project is still in the approvals process.
Valor Development also developed the Flats at Il Palazzo, 1617 Swann and the Maia near the H Street Corridor.
Also at this intersection, new development of the Jefferson apartments at the northwest corners is also in the pipeline. On the Southwest corner, the new City Market at O project is also in the works.
Other P Street condos projects include 12 two-story luxury condominiums called P Street Row by Capital City Real Estate.  But don’t get your hopes up about buying one of these properties anytime soon – all the condos are already either sold or under contract.
Active listing for condos in the P Street area have been increasing in recent months, from lowest inventory levels in February. Many of these options are for renovated space in older buildings, such as a $599,000 condo at 902 T Street NW. This is a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath unit with beautiful dark hardwood floors and a slew of nice upgrades. The condo fee is only $315, fairly low by District standards but more common among P Street condos.
