New Condo Projects in Shaw
Soon there were be four new condo projects in Shaw -- P Street Residences, P Street Row, 926 N Street, and CityMarket at O.
P Street Residences is a new 65 to 70 unit condo project planned for P and 7th Streets, Northwest, in the Shaw neighborhood. The building will be four stories with a partially raised garage. Units will range from 510 to about 850 square feet. Since this project is still in the planning stages, there is no delivery date yet.
P Street Row is a condo development under construction in Shaw at 751 P Street in Northwest. The project is designed to look like a row of six townhomes of various colors to blend with the historic facade of the neighborhood. This project includes 12 two-level luxury condos, and half of those will be two-bedroom, two-bath penthouses. Units range in size from 1,000 to 1,400 square feet. Prices for the units start in the $500,000s and are currently selling. In fact, seven units have already sold and three are under contract. The remaining two units are listed at $549,900.
One of the condo projects in Shaw is planned for the property owned by the United House of Prayer at 926 N Street in Northwest. This project includes 12 residential units ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom units. The development will also include two retail spaces on the street level. The project is still in the planning stages, so the delivery date has not been set.
CityMarket at O is another of the condo projects in Shaw at O and 8th Streets in Northwest. This large development will include over 87,000 square feet of retail, 629 residential units, and 500 parking spaces. The retail anchor of the development will be a new Giant grocery store, which is slated to open late this summer. Afterward, the Cambria Suites hotel with 182 rooms and 400 apartments will be available. The final phase of the project in the fall of 2014 will include an 84-unit affordable senior housing building and a condominium building with 145 units.
