Many new condo projects are coming to Adams Morgan. Some are currently under construction and others are still in the planning phases.
The Champlain Street development is still in the planning phases with delivery expected in the spring of 2014. This project will turn a vacant lot into a building with 40 condominium units. The units in this project will range in size from 500 to 900 square feet, and prices will start in the high $200s and rise into the high $500s.
The Euclid Street project is another one of the new condo projects in Adams Morgan that will replace a corner market. The development includes 19 units in one, two, and two-bedroom plus den layouts. All units feature hardwood flooring, walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, and designer bathrooms. Prices started in the mid $300s, but currently there is only one terrace level unit for sale with a listed price of $349,000. The rest of units are already under contract including the top floor units, a few of which feature multi-level roof decks. Assigned parking spaces were sold for $30,000 and are now sold out. But there are four covered parking spaces for $35,000 each that will first be offered to the three penthouse unit owners. These condo units will be delivered this summer.
The project planned for Adams Mill Road will be on the site of the Exxon station. This development will include 35 to 40 condo units, 8,600 square feet of ground-level retail, and 24 underground parking spaces. Construction is expected to start late this year with delivery in early 2015.
Yet another development with 117 units is planned for Kalorama Road, adjacent to the Dorchester House apartments at 2480 16th Street in Northwest. This project will be four stories with 175 parking spaces on two underground levels.
