Mount Pleasant Listings

Mount Pleasant listings are perhaps not as ballyhooed as listings in Adams Morgan or Georgetown, but this neighborhood in Northwest Washington D.C. is a gem.

Mount Pleasant listings enjoy natural amenities. The community is bordered to the west by Rock Creek Park and to the south by the National Zoo, two of the District’s largest and well known recreation areas. Unlike nearby Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant is a comparatively quiet area with few bars or restaurants. Instead, large row homes and older trees dominate the landscape here.

Mount Pleasant listings are diverse, and while inventory of active listing has risen from March to April, selections are still far from the numbers they were in 2012. Like most pricing trends in the District, Mount Pleasant listings are expensive, but they are more affordable than other areas with similar amenities.

On the market now, Mount Pleasant listings include a three-bedroom, two-bath row home, about 1,248 square feet of very modern renovated space at 1739 Harvard Street.  It lists for $699,000 and because it’s a row house, it doesn’t include condo fees … but it does include two parking spaces.

Further north and among smaller condo properties in Mount Pleasant listings, a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo lists for $259,500 square feet. This property is also intensely renovated with clean lines and features like hardwood floors, marble and stainless steel appliances.  Located at 3314 Mount Pleasant Street NW, this condo is about 702 square feet and has a condo fee of $324 per month, which includes gas, heat and custodial services.

Finally, even further toward Rock Creek Park to the north, a three-bedroom, three-bathroom row house lists for $729,000 and is about 1,620 square feet. This property, one of six in the Rosa Condos, is actually a condo property and has a condo fee of $272 per month. But the interior is impeccable. It has a beautifully renovated kitchen of pure marble that flows into the living room. This property is at 3430 Brown Street NW. Again, this is one of a slew of diverse Mount Pleasant listings.
