We’ve compiled a list of best events going on in the city for the next couple of months. If you need to make some plans with friends or family in town, want to see something new or love to experience DC check them out!

Georgetown Glow invites visitors to re-imagine the season of light through outdoor public art. Located in the heart of Georgetown, this is the region's only curated exhibition of outdoor public light and installations. This event runs from Dec 8-Jan 7, from 5-10pm, so make sure to check it out before it ends!

At Wharf Ice Rink visitors can glide over the ice while enjoying amazing views of the Potomac. Open from Dec. 2-late Feb with varying daily times. General admission is $10 and if you need to rent skates it’s another $6. They even offer lessons!

International Spy Gala is a black-tie optional gala held at the Washington Plaza Hotel for NYE (Dec 31). Dress up as a spy, villain or femme fatale and enjoy an open bar, a live band, mock casino, ice sculptures, Golden Girls, exotic backdrops, international buffet and a mixing area for singles. This is one of the many New Year’s Eve parties going on the in district.

Meet and Greet with a Budweiser Clydesdale on New Years Day (Jan.1) from 12pm-2pm at The Wharf DC. Phoenix will make his way from Seventh Street Park, with stops at Anchor and Kirwan’s Irish Pub, before settling in at District Pier. Enjoy Budweiser specials at both Anchor Marina and Ship Store and Kirwan’s.

Restaurant Week from Jan 22-28, more than 250 of the capital region's finest restaurants offer 3-course lunches for $22 and 3-course dinners for $35. Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to experience Washington, D.C.’s best restaurants at affordable prices. Restaurants include Centrolina, Fiola Mare and Indique to name a few!

Trap Yoga is a special weekly class held at the Khepera Wellness studio that mixes Power Yoga with Trap Music. Every Tuesday from Jan 2-May 29 from 8:15-9:15pm.

2018 Washington Auto Show features more than 700 new vehicle makes and models, live entertainment, celebrity guests and new car giveaways. Jan 26-Feb 4, located at the Washington Convention Center, 801 Mount Vernon Place, NW Washington, DC.

Mardi Gras at The Wharf DC on Feb 13 from 5-9pm! Let the good times roll and catch some beads while you cheer on our Mardi Gras parade down Wharf Street. The party will continue at the Pearl Street bars.

Chinese New Year Parade in DC, celebrates the Chinese New Year with a parade in Chinatown featuring traditional Chinese Dragon Dance, Kung Fu demonstrations and live musical entertainment. Located on H St NW between 6th and 8th Streets from 2-4:30pm. A good place to view the parade is along 7th St.
