Burleith Features & Amenities

Burleith commerce happens almost exclusively along nearby Wisconsin Ave NW and there are a handful of great spots, including Safeway and several restaurants and bars. Nearby Georgetown and Glover Park provide an extensive variety of more commercial and retail options. Burleith has a very active community association and there are three schools within the area: the Washington International (Primary) School, the Duke Ellington (High) School of the Arts, and the Corcoran College of Arts and Design. Glover-Archbold Park on the west end and Whitehaven Park at the north end are great spots to get back to nature. The French embassy is located in the southwestern corner of Burleith.

To the north of Georgetown, you’ll find the still upscale but less famous neighborhood of Burleith.
