339 18TH ST NE, WASHINGTON, DC 20002

List Price: $390,000

You would need to get the price down on this one for it to make sense.  The listing agent told me that the seller has some flexibility in the price of this outer Capitol Hill home.  Buy and hold or buy and flip.  The property can be turned into a two unit.

1160 Neal St NE, WASHINGTON, DC  20002

List Price: $250,000

This is a two unit in the southern part of Trinidad in northeast DC.  Great buy and hold property.  The Trinidad area is seeing record sales so it make sense to buy this property and rent it out while the area continues to go up in value.

Southwest Waterfront development is taking shape as part of DC’s Anacostia Waterfront Initiative.  This new mixed-use development, called the Wharf, will span 27 acres of land and 24 acres of water from the northern landmark of the Maine Avenue Fish Market to the southern point of Fort McNair.  This swath of land has remained largely untouched since the infamous Urban Renewal 50 years ago.

The Wharf aims to change the waterfront to include cafes, restaurants, homes, office space, hotels, retail, and public spaces.  Those public spaces will include waterfront parks, promenades, piers, and docks.

The first phase of development along the Southwest Waterfront includes 3 apartment buildings, a cultural venue, a condo building, a co-generation power…

800 4TH ST SW #S-212, WASHINGTON, DC 20024

This is a re-sale of a 1 bedroom/1bathroom unit at Potomac Place Tower which sits right next to the Southwest Waterfront metro station.  The nice part about Potomac Place Tower is how reasonable the monthly condo fee is.  The monthly fee on this unit is $340.  One of the main issues that has hurt the real esate values in Southwest Washington DC has been the high monthly fee's.(see Carrollsburg Condominium or Riverside fee's to understand what I am talking about!)

1101 L ST NW #102, WASHINGTON, DC 20005

This is a reasonable price for a 636 sq ft unit at the Wisteria Mansion in the Logan Circle area of Northwest DC.  The real estate values remain strong in Logan Circle and units like these don't stay on the…
