Transportation-wise, most Cleveland Park residents commute by public transportation, due to a metro stop right in the neighborhood, as well as access to many bus lines. Ubers (without surge pricing) are only around $10 to get anywhere in the city.

As far as home style, since Cleveland Park was originally used as the site for summer homes (due to its higher elevation), many were built with expansive porches and large windows. There was formerly a streetcar along Wisconsin Ave. which began the creation of the retail and restaurants that currently serves the community.

Just some of the retail and restaurants include the newer Ardeo + Bardeo and popular steakhouse Medium Rare. There’s also Firehook Bakery, perfect for grabbing a quick coffee or pastry before hopping on Metro.
