DuPont Circle is a longstanding neighborhood in D.C. with plenty to do. This fall, consider taking the kids down to Embassy Row for trick-or-treating. Not only are the embassies absolutely beautiful to check out, but rumor has it the treats are king-sized.

DuPont Circle is also home to the Phillips Collection, which is the country’s first museum of modern art. From now through Dec. 31st, photographs, exhibition announcements, letters and more from the collection’s archives.

If you’re looking for a new book to read, Kramerbooks is always a great bet to grab a new book and of course enjoy their delicious brunch. Try their berry buttermilk pancakes with two scrambled eggs, a short stack of pancakes and fresh berries.

Also on Connecticut Ave. is Café Citron, where you can learn to salsa dance like a pro. Classes are held Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. All the shopping you’ll need is along Connecticut Ave as well, with an H&M, Gap, Alton Lane, Brooks Brothers and more.

If you plan on being in DuPont Circle and have children, the National Geographic Museum is a great bet for some serious fun. Upcoming exhibits this fall include one on wildlife and another 3-D exhibit on the Tomb of Christ.
