The little neighborhood of Arlingwood is the northernmost in Arlington County and enjoys the seclusion and privacy one might expect living away from the business district, yet residents enjoy great proximity to DC. In this aptly named community, the housing stock is surrounded by lush greenery and consists largely of mid-20th-Century ramblers with the odd Colonial or foursquare, and a smattering of new, larger teardowns.

Arlingwood Transit & Location

Arlingwood has no Metro Station, but it is nearest to Ballston-MU Station on the Orange and Silver lines, which is accessible via N Glebe Rd (VA-120). N Glebe Rd runs through Arlingwood, providing access to the District of Columbia; and to I-395 to the south, toward Alexandria.

Arlingwood is bounded by N Glebe Rd to the east and south, the Potomac River to the northeast, and McLean, VA to the northwest.
